Al-Taqwa Association for Women and Children’s Rights, with the support of Save the Children and in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights and the Department of Women’s Empowerment, Family and Children’s Affairs in Basra, implemented ((Centralized Protection Workshop for Stakeholders))
To enhance local government participation in the project program (accelerating efforts led by local communities towards a sustainable future) through a detailed and comprehensive explanation of all project activities to government agencies, establishing a strong connection with them, and benefiting from their recommendations and proposals to achieve the local sustainability that the project aims for, which is considered the third stage of a series Stages that were previously implemented by Al-Taqwa Association.
The main axes of the project were also discussed, including child protection, women’s support, climate change, and the necessity of calling for an advocacy campaign on the issue of climate change and its danger to society.
Also among the important suggestions that were emphasized is the expansion of partnerships with the presidencies (the President of the Judicial Council and the Chief of Prosecution), and this is what will be worked on to achieve the highest results in the process of facilitating and distributing books to the concerned departments, which have a major role in the success of the project’s goals and its sustainability in a way that serves the community, the family, and the child. .
