In continuation of the establishment of adolescent clubs, Al-Taqwa Association for Women’s and Children’s Rights, with the support of Save the Children, established ((adolescent clubs to strengthen the capacities of child-led groups regarding the Convention on the Rights of the Child and enable them to participate in reporting at the national level)) in youth and sports centers in Abi Al-Khasib district And the governorate center, Al-Zahraa Women’s Forum, in cooperation with the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Women’s Empowerment Department in the governorate, within the project ((Supporting children in violation of the law through a preventive and functional system in Iraq))
Training young children on their rights aims to enable them to understand their rights and duties and to enable them to participate effectively in society. It aims to enhance their social and interaction skills. It is also possible to benefit from training young children in the national and periodic reports to include their views and suggestions on issues related to children's rights. And identifying the problems faced by children and identifying appropriate solutions to these problems using their opinions and suggestions
In general, training and educating young children about their rights can be used to enhance their lives, enhance their role in society, and improve protection and care policies and programs that target them.
