Strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and governance policy in accordance with plans and policies in line with changes and developments in modern technology for the Board of Directors and employees working on the project starting from 11/8 until 11/12/2023 at Al-Taqwa Society Hall.
The first training was for strategic planning, which is an essential part of the organization’s management and development, and the framework that directs the organization’s goals and enables employees to understand the organization’s vision and strategies in achieving its goals. The training also focused on organizing work, collecting data, identifying problems, developing executive plans for them, and how to follow up, evaluate, and employ them with the organization’s goal.
As for the second training, which is the evaluation and follow-up policy, through which the function of each of them, the differences and common features between them, and the role that these tools aim to play in improving performance and thus evaluating the quality of service delivery to the beneficiary groups were discussed.
The last training is to develop and strengthen the good governance system, which is the basis for building and developing the organization’s capabilities, which in turn helps with transparency, managing operations effectively, and ensuring the issue, which enhances confidence between donors and the local community. The training highlighted the concepts related to good governance, which are transparency, data disclosure, and accountability. Monitoring performance and effective administrative councils in terms of establishing integrated and effective administrative structures that work to define policies, make critical decisions, manage operations, and enhance the role of the organization by developing and drawing up its own policies and procedures that enhance trust, transparency, and evaluate performance.
These trainings aim to build the organization's technical and organizational capabilities, which is the main goal that Mercy Corps seeks to support, improve and strengthen the performance of local community organizations and thus improve the services provided to the target groups.
