Create a community structure
Carpooling App, Ride Sharing App with Driver App & Rider App
Al-Taqwa Association for Women and Children’s Rights, with the support of Mercy Corps and in cooperation with the Youth and Sports Directorate, the Women’s Empowerment Department, and the Human Rights Commission, established a community structure in the Zubair district in the Youth and Sports Center that includes civil and governmental judiciary notables.
Within the project ((Enhancing the access of fragile and vulnerable groups of women and children to legal and counseling services and psychological and social support services)) the project workers introduced the attendees to the Al-Taqwa Association for Women’s and Children’s Rights and its work tasks. The project director also provided the structure with the project’s objectives and activities in accordance with local standards in social service and the method of providing it. This committee consisting of ladies and gentlemen who have knowledge of the administrative and technical needs of social and development institutions, with special attention to the groups most in need and providing them with services to bring about social and positive change in the local community, Al-Taqwa Association provides a channel for voluntary participation in the public sphere, and civil society organizations and associations are also a tool. For individual initiative that expresses free will and positive participation stemming from volunteerism, not forced mobilization, social committees must fulfill the needs and protect the rights of the targeted groups, and at the top of those needs is the need to protect and defend the rights of children and women from fragile and vulnerable groups and to communicate their voices to the association and to the bodies that provide services and their right to Equal treatment in providing services. Thus, society, its committees and civil society organizations become a lawyer defending citizens by pressuring service providers to respect and fulfill those rights. For this reason, the combined committees were established.
